Pula Gutierrez was a well known potter at Santa Clara from 1970-1990. She was famous for her animals, and this is one of her blackware bears, in excellent condition. He measures 3 1/2" length by 3" height. Clearly signed on the bottom. Nice earlier example of the pueblo animalitos.
