Early White-Slipped Canteen, Nampeyo

4 3/4" diameter

by Nampeyo

From the 1890s, this white-slipped canteen with its great wavy circle design is a fine early example of Nampeyo's work. It measures 4 3/4" in diameter, and shows Nampeyo experimenting in her own way with Sikyatki designs and her own imagination.
