A highly polished and beautifully painted San Ildefonso blackware jar by Rosalie & Joe Aguilar. Rosalie and Joe were active from the 1920's through the 1960's. Rosalie along with Rose Gonzales were the first to carve pottery at San Ildefonso. This piece is in excellent condition and clearly signed on the base.
